Yet the story is not only about risk. It is also about opportunity. Nigeria offers a fascinating lens through which to view Africa's future: as the continent's largest economy and one of the world's fastest-growing populations, what happens there will help shape the decades ahead. Michael Baxter is joined by Nigerian ecology researcher Torobong Samuel and environmental scientist Ubonabasi Cookey to discuss why sustainability matters so much in Nigeria, the opportunities emerging from Africa's growth story, practical solutions for building resilience and prosperity, and whether the rest of this century could, in many ways, be Africa's time.
